operational partner to Office of the Prime Minister and United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate literacy and
language training activities for South Sudanese refugees. - Offer technical assistance to field
staff in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of adult
education activities. - Identify, formulate and initiate
relevant methods, models and practices for adult education. - Train and support field staff on
participatory methods for adult education. - Support active Monitoring and
Evaluation, collect and analyse data. - Develop training materials for the use
of adult education.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Finnish Refugee
Council (FRC) Adult Education Team Leader job placement must hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education / Community Development / Social
Science combined with very strong adult education experience. - Previous experience in training,
material development and participatory methods. - Five years of professional work
experience, of which 2 years in team leader position. - Knowledge of Dinka, Nuer, Luo and / or
Acholi are an advantage.
