result of the “Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Act, 2004”, which
merged the operations of Uganda Television (UTV) and Radio Uganda. It started
broadcasting on November 16, 2005.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) Program Officer – Radio job placement must
hold a Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Administration,
Social Sciences or any other related field with proven experience in
broadcasting. - Post Graduate Diploma in any of the
above field is an added advantage. - Two years’ experience in a fast moving
radio broadcasting industry.
