International Services seeks to implement a USAID-funded Uganda Sanitation for
Health Activity. The project will work to increase household access to
sanitation and water services, and improve health through hygiene behavior
change campaigns in homes, schools and health facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the USAID Project
Regional Manager must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business,
or a WASH related field - Previous experience in overseeing
multi-year programs to increase household access to sanitation and water
services, and improve health through hygiene behavior change campaigns in
homes, schools and health facilities - Experience managing teams and budgets,
co-ordinating concurrent activities, effective engagement with Local
Government and NGOs or Community-Based Organizations - Seven to ten years of experience in an
equivalent position - Applicants with previous USAID
experience are also encouraged. - The ability to work in a multi-cultural,
multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity and
gender are essential requirements. - Current residents in Uganda are
encouraged to apply.
