Kampala Capital City
Authority (KCCA) is the legal entity, established by the Ugandan Parliament,
responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Plan, budget and coordinate health data
    collection and management.
  • The Kampala Capital City Authority
    (KCCA) Biostatistician will update and maintain the Health Management
    Information System.
  • Collect and analyze data on health.
  • Implement measures for maintaining data
    security.
  • Actively participate in support
    supervision.
  • Support health research activities and
    programs.
  • Impart knowledge and skills to staff on
    information and data management.
  • Compile and submit reports on health
    information Management.
  • Manage and account for allocated
    resources.
  • Perform any other duties as may be
    assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Kampala Capital
City Authority (KCCA) Biostatistician should hold an Honors Degree in
Biostatistics, Statistics or Statistics and Economics from a recognized
Institution.
