result of the “Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Act, 2004”, which
merged the operations of Uganda Television (UTV) and Radio Uganda. It started
broadcasting on November 16, 2005.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) Accountant job
placement must hold a Degree in Commerce or Business Administration from a
recognized University majoring in Accounting from a recognized institution. - At least level II Professional
qualifications preferably CPA, CIMA, ACCA or related field. - Two years’ experience in accounting
field in a busy working environment preferably in a broadcasting Industry
or similar Field. - Extensive knowledge of computerized
accounting package. - High proficiency in the use of computer
applications. - Excellent report writing capability.
