of Uganda. The bank has its operations in over 30 branches spread across the
country and 290 ATMs after joining Interswitch.
Job Summary: The Business
Technology Officer will support the branch with ICT Equipment, Service Channels
(ATMs/POS), drive the growth of E-Banking Income at the branch and manage the relationship
of E-banking service customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Support
    ICT and E-Banking equipment (i.e. Routers, PCs, Printers, ATM, POS, etc)
    at the branch
  • Responsible
    for the income growth of the E-Banking services not limited to ATM/POS,
    Mobile Banking, Internet banking, Mobile Money, Western Union, Express
    Money, Money Gram, Diaspora and Collections (NWSC, URA, School Fees,
    UMEME, Army Shop, etc).
  • Ensure
    daily reconciliation and ensure Settlement of funds transfer transaction
    commission
  • Recruit
    and manage relations of PostBank’s agents/sub-agents at the branch
  • Tasked
    with network security monitoring i.e. Password Management, compliance to
    Money Transfer Processing requirements in line with PostBank’s policies
    and Procedures
  • Responsible
    for Training of Users at the Branch regarding the E-Banking and ICT
    systems
  • Prepare
    weekly E-Banking and ICT reports for branch, submit to Business Growth
    Manager with a copy to E-Banking Manager
  • Work
    as the contact person on matters relating to E-Banking and ICT services.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science
  • Candidates
    MUST have a Credit in Math and English at O’ level
  • Ability
    to sell e- banking products.
  • Ability
    to trouble shoot
  • Must
    possess high level of integrity, a hard worker as well as
  • Good
    team player
  • Age: Between 22-30 years
