Human Resource Officer
(NCS) is a statutory organisation that was established in 1964, to among other
things; Develop, Promote and Control all forms of sports in the country.
Resource Officer will support the Senior Human Resource Officer in the
management, implementation and monitoring of Human Resource policies,
strategies, guidelines, rules, regulations; and guidance of the council on all
matters of Human Resource Planning, Management and Development.
- Carrying
out staff welfare management for the Council. - Providing
technical advice to the council and departments, units and staff on
matters related to Human Resource Management. - Assist
in monitoring staff performance through staff appraisal exercise to ensure
quality service delivery. - Assist
in Preparing HR work plans, budgets and performance reports - Interpreting
the Human Resource policies, rules, regulations and procedures; - Assist
in the management of the payroll of the Council - Support
the Senior Human Resource Officer in implementation of recruitment
policies and procedures that enhance organization performance and
productivity. - Assist
the Senior Human Resource Officer in reviewing job descriptions for all
roles in the Organization as per the performance management guidelines and
on organization demands. - Assist
with training and development administration and ensure all training
records are up to date. - Responsible
for staff leave management and administration. - Assist
in the management and update of staff records
- The
applicant must hold an Honours Degree in Human Resources Management, or a
Honours Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA) or Social
Sciences or Management Science or Business Administration (Management) or
Arts (with Personnel/ Human Resource Management as an option) from a
recognized University. - No
work experience in the HRM field is required, but may count as an added
advantage. - Human resource management
