to improving key population- based national health indicators; build the
capacity of the Ugandan government to carry out a sustainable and locally-
driven response to the HIV epidemic, while also improving TB, malaria,
nutrition, MNCH+A, and WASH outcomes. JSI will work with Ugandan stakeholders to
design and implement health system strengthening strategies to scale up
high-impact, evidence-based interventions at the national, sub-regional,
district, and community levels. Interventions will include VMMC, virtual
elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, antiretroviral therapy, and
condom education and distribution. JSI will focus where the greatest impact can
be realized, with a priority on hard-to-reach and high-HIV-prevalence
locations.
- Assist
in monitoring of timely and consistent data collection and reporting from
all project partners and service providers - Support
project partners to develop, capture consolidate and report on mutually-identified
indicators and ensure quality and timely reporting of monitoring data - Supervise
all data entry and maintain project data systems to ensure correct and
timely reporting and tracking of project achievement toward targets in
accordance mm - Lango,
USAID and PEPFAR requirements; - Provide
technical support, training and supervision of partners, including MOH and GOU in the
area of M&E/strategic information (SI);
- The
applicant for the USAID RHITES-N Project Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
job placement should hold a Master’s degree in public health preferred or
bachelor’s degree and additional training, certificate or qualification and
evaluation (M&E) or relevant field; - At
least eight years’ experience in M&E/SI for international donor-funded
projects, preferably including experience with USAID-funded projects; - Knowledge
and experience with HIV, AIDS, STI, M&E, data management in Uganda
including data entry and cleaning, analysis and report writing - PEPFAR
reporting experience
