Job Summary: The Mechanical
Technician will conduct preventive and corrective works on the mechanical
plant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Corrective maintenance
- Handle
any mechanical plant breakdowns, deviation/notifications - Carry
out pre job briefing - Take
out plant permits and check isolations - Supervise
junior team members during execution of mechanical works.
Preventative Maintenance
- Handle
routine preventive maintenance activities on mechanical plants while
ensuring safety of plant, equipment and people. - Conduct
job safety observations
Modify:
- Handle
repairs of plant, modifications and troubleshooting for solutions while
ensuring safety of plant, equipment and people. - Participate
in project execution.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant must hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Two
years of related experience - Behavioural:
Integrity, honesty, trustworthy and professionalism. - Leadership
- Knowledge
of Turbine water ways, work at heights and in confined places - Analytical
Skill (Interpret engineering sketches and drawing, hydraulic circuits) - Time
Management - Decision
Making - Customer
and Quality Focus - Good
communication skills - Team
work
