Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a private not for profit NGO
that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services; maternal child
health services; Health Professional training and Clinical Research.
Management Coordinator designs and implements effective learning activities and
manage the Organizational knowledge domain.
- The
Knowledge management Coordinator designs and implement effective learning
activities in collaboration with other team members - Manage
knowledge sharing events in collaboration with Baylor and District
Leadership Teams, scope and manage the successful execution of knowledge
sharing events and peer learning sessions - Identify
and curate technical website content , manage and implement project-wide
content strategies to ensure that the right knowledge is getting to the
right people at the right time - Manage
the website, social media and other engagement platforms - Document
and share learning , lessons learned, and best practices for products,
events, and other knowledge management activities are clear and documented - Actively
engage partners and learning champions ,work with program managers,
project partners, and learning champions to expand various online/in-person
learning activities - Work
collaboratively with peers and also closely with other project teams
including communications, web development, training, and assessing and
learning to ensure alignment and cohesion - Develop
and implement innovative, creative, and effective ways to strategically
capture and share technical knowledge, leverage good practices, and
improve the effectiveness of project implementation - Collect
and structure information, gather their experiences and insights from
project professionals in a specific format that can easily be stored - Convert
technical information into simple language
- The
ideal candidate for the Baylor Uganda Knowledge Management Coordinator job
opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Health management Information
systems/Mass communication and a Masters in public health. - Possession
of a Post Graduate qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation/Statistics
will be an added advantage - Team
and communications skills - Must
be dynamic and have self-initiative
