Job Summary: The Knowledge
Management Coordinator will lead in the knowledge management activities of
capturing, analysing and sharing project information so that the project can
effectively use knowledge to make evidence-based decisions, improve and
replicate future programs, and share results and lessons learned among internal
and external project stakeholders. Also leading the implementation of
sponsorship’s Knowledge Management (KM) and Advocacy strategies and plans,
including ongoing gathering of research results, success stories, case studies,
lessons learnt and other relevant information, ensuring they are appropriately
tailored, packaged, stored and share to encourage their application and
assessing and developing strategic relationships with various stakeholders.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant for the Save the Children Knowledge
    Management Coordinator job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
    Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Social Sciences or
    related field
  • At least three years of experience working
    in a knowledge management role in a both emergency and development
    contexts
  • Sound understanding of development of MIS
    and data and information management and familiarity with knowledge
    management systems and approaches.
  • Sound knowledge of international quality
    standards (Red Cross Code of Conduct, Sphere and HAP Standard and
    experience in designing and managing assessments and evaluations with
    knowledge of major trends and current issues in Adolescent/Youth Sexual
    Reproductive Health
  • Direct experience of working with
    communities in participatory activities and fluency in Luganda (both
    verbal and written) is a must.
