(MDI) (Pride) is the leading Microfinance Deposit Taking Institution in Uganda with
34 networked branches and eight contact offices countrywide, an equal

Officer will be expected to implement Pride’s Enterprises Risk Management (ERM)
framework in line with Bank of Uganda Risk guidelines (2010) and sound Risk
management practices.
- Identify
and analyze risks related to the business. - Establish,
maintain and update the Systems Risk Incidence Register and prepare
analysis reports such as risk assessment report and key risk indicator
tool. - Support
the implementation of performance analytic tools in agreement with the
Bank of Uganda guidelines, Basel II and CAMEL ratings. - Support
implementation of accepted risk management standards. - Risk
management sensitization and awareness for all staff. - Champion
the fraud risk policy. - Project
Risk Management - Undertake
independent risk assessments in branches and departments for assurance of
Board and EXCOM on the adequacy of the Risk and control self-assessments.
- The
ideal candidate for the Pride Risk Officer job placement should preferably
hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantitative Economics,
Commerce, Business Administration, ICT and Computer Science or any other
related field. - Two
years of related working experience in a related field. - Professional
qualification in ACCA , CPA is an added advantage. - Should
posses 2 principal passes at A’ level. - Should
posses a credit and or a pass in Mathematics and English at O’ level. - Should
be a self driven, dynamic, self-motivated, team player, results oriented,
analytical and with excellent interpersonal skills.
