Director
Mission is a global organization that protects the poor from violence
throughout the developing world. International Justice Mission partners with
local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice,
restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems. The International
Justice Mission (IJM) Uganda is working to eliminate property grabbing in
Uganda by bringing rescue and restoration to individual victims, accountability
to their perpetrators, and transformation to the public justice system as a
whole.
- The
jobholder will manage the Director’s calendar, finance reporting, and
timesheet - Provide
clerical support (copying, scanning, and printing) for Director. - Help
Director prepare for meetings and track deadlines. - Procure
equipment from stateside vendors.
Activities:
- Organize
and execute office activities including celebrations, events, etc. - Occasional
announcements to the staff concerning office wide implementations and
additions from Headquarters - Act
as a member of the Global Change Network for new technology rollouts for
the office.
Visits:
- Arrange
domestic and international travel for Director. - Prepare
documentation for passports and visas for office staff for HQ visits and
event appearances. - Liaise
with headquarters to coordinate international visits. - Prepare
itineraries for visiting headquarters staff and donors.

departure dates, orientation etc.

- The
ideal candidate for the International Justice Mission (IJM) Executive
Assistant job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree. - Prior
clerical /administrative experience. - Computer
literate with proficiency in MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook. - Fluency
in English required. - Mature
Christian faith. - Passionate
commitment to IJM’s mission and values. - High
level of self-motivation and personal initiative. - Intelligent,
organized, creative and proactive problem solver. - Effective
organizer, planner and implementer; detail-oriented. - Good
leader and team player. - Works
well under stress with a sustained positive attitude. - Exceptionally
high level of honesty and integrity. - Ability
to cooperate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. - The
successful candidate should have strong attention to detail, be able to
multi-task successfully, handle stressful situations in a professional
manner, and consistently present a positive image to internal and external
customers.
