and South western Uganda. We provide Comprehensive Primary Health Care, Reproductive
Health, HIV/AIDS and Nutrition.
Officer ensures MTI- Uganda fleet & logistics related capital assets, are
managed and maintained in a manner that supports operations in an efficient
manner. Ensures effective and timely maintenance, servicing and repair of MTI
fleet & assets in order to minimize down time. Develops, implements and
enforces vehicle management best practices, policies and procedures. Organizes
and delivers training to fleet staff.
- Assists in the recruitment, training and
assessment of relevant staff. - Supports and coordinates with the procurement
team(s) on all fleet related goods and services. - Maintains a comprehensive fleet/asset file for each asset
in accordance to fleet policy. - Ensures that all MTI fleet and other capital
assets (vehicles, motorcycles, generators, lawn mowers, solar power
equipment) are rightly operated and maintained in accordance with donor requirements. - Prepares and maintains monthly fleet/assets
reports following the analysis of regional performance reports/data on
fleet-asset. - Coordinates, administers and monitors the
maintenance, repair, replacement and logistics of MTI- Uganda and hired fleet and assets. - Conducts analysis of vehicle or asset status
and make recommendations for timely replacement. - Oversees the management, routing and movement
of vehicles or assets between project locations as required by operations. - Ensures all vehicle operation policies and systems are up to date and enforced
within field operations. - Maintains vehicle workshop in order to provide
timely servicing/repairing of vehicles - Review and administer Purchase Order &
Service Contracts and ad hoc field supplies as required. - Coordinates fleet insurance claims and /or
prepare necessary documents for claims resulting from accidents.
- The
Fleet Officer should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Fleet/Logistics/Business Administration or related. - Professional or post graduate qualification in
Fleet/logistics - Additional trainings in fleet management
- At
least five years of related experience; two of which supervising Fleet
teams - Experience of similar services in reputable
public organization/NGO - Fluent in communication and writing in English.
- Computer skills for reporting, and
communication - Driving skills (4*4 manual power); with clean
driving license
