Job Summary: The Human
Resource Officer will be expected to provide HR Service including recruitment,
performance management, leave administration and maintenance of Human Capital
registry among others.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Staff
recruitment including obtaining job requirements for approval and
advertising as per the Pride policies, verifying applicants, shortlisting
and facilitating the interview process; - Maintaining
an updated database for all interns and ensuring that all interns submit
reports to the HCM department and Branch Managers at the end of their
internship program. - Provide
support to the induction process and other training programs in the
organization. - Participate
in the man power planning. - Participate
in the management of staff records including updating personal files,
establishing a staff data-base for purposes of tracking personal data,
career development, skills inventory and human resource planning. - Assist
in the leave administration process of Pride through processing of staff
leave requests, updating inventory of all staff leave application forms
and ensure clearances and approvals are obtained. - Actively
participate in the performance management process through distribution of
appraisal forms to all staff and receiving as well as compiling results
for the final appraisal report. - Provide
information on HR related matters and respond to employee queries. - Register,
file and safe keep all documents and correspondences addressed to or from
the Human Capital Management department. Prepare administrative
notifications/letters for internal transfers, promotions, salary
adjustments, salary reviews, etc. - Assist
in all other HR related activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Pride Human Resource Officer job placement should
preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Social
Sciences, SWASA, and Industrial & Organizational Psychology or in any
other relevant I related field. - Should
possess 2 Principal passes at A’ Level and credits and /or in Maths and
English at O’ Level. - A
minimum of two years working experience in handling Human Resource roles. - He/she
should be a self-driven, dynamic, self-motivated, team player, results
oriented, analytical - Excellent
inter-personal skills - Good
computer knowledge. - Personal
Competencies: Business
acumen, good time Management, Stress Management, Reporting, Written &
Oral communication, Planning, Coaching, Decision making, Team building,
Problem solving, Change Management, Emotional intelligence, Advocacy,
Motivation and Negotiation. - Age: Below 30 years of age.
