About Us:
The Uganda Communications
Commission (UCC) was established to implement the provisions of The UCC Act
2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of developing a modern communications
sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in conformity with the
operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Division
Head Strategy and Research will lead the development, implementation and
monitoring of the business and strategic plan, strategic research and
development, innovation activities, and measuring the organization performance
in line with the Commission’s mandate.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration,
Statistics, Strategic Planning, Economics, Policy Management or in an ICT
related field. - A
Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics,
Economics or an ICT related field. - Membership
to a professional body is an added advantage. - At
least eight (8) years’ experience in strategic planning and research in
communications sector, of which Four (4) years’ should be in a managerial position
of a similar corporate setting
