Financial Management:
- Monitoring
of Stock Funds - Balance
Sheet Reconciliations Review of Schedules and Preparations - Liaise
with External Auditors in the completion of Annual Audits - Prepare
month KPI report by 10th of the following month - File
monthly VAT returns - Perform
internal audits - Prepare
Bank Reconciliations - Adhoc
- FX
Posting
Stock Management:
- Monthly
Stock Analysis Report - Stock
Position Report - Posting
Stock Purchases and Stock Sales and Stock supplier Payments - Instruction
Request - Daily
Stock Position - Stock
Debtors and Creditors Analysis - Daily
Stock Recons minibem Vs Sage Vs stock counts
Treasury and Bank Management
- Weekly
Bank Balance Report - Posting
all trade Bank Transactions - Posting
all intercompany Transfers - Posting
Fx Gains and Losses on the Banks - Ensure
all Banks are Balancing with System
Stakeholder Communication and
Other duties
Other duties
- Efficient
communication with all stakeholders - Provide
timely feedback to management and staff - Support
the Senior Accountant in any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the Accountant job placement must hold an Honours
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
qualifications from a reputable institution - ACCA/
CPA Certification as added advantage - Four years’ experience is mandatory preferably with multi-national organizations.
- Proficiency
in MS Office (particularly Excel) - The applicant must be proficient in using Accounting software i.e. SAGE and SAP.
- Excellent
communication skills, careful attention to detail, ability to identify key
issues and solutions
