Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure
statutory compliance by filing VAT, PAYE, NSSF, IT returns - Post
the journals for provisions, prepayments, forex entries and other
administrative expenses - Update
and maintain ledgers - Tasked
with maintaining accounts and financials as per IFRS or accounting
standards - Day
to day accounting and operations - Closing
the books of accounts monthly - Management
Accounts / reports - Substantiate
financial transactions by auditing documents - Document
financial transactions by entering account information
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant must hold a degree in Accounting - ACCA/CPA
an added advantage - At
least five years of experience in a busy manufacturing and processing
environment - Knowledge
of Tally software - Excellent
organisational skills
