Administrative Secretary/Technical
(NCS) is a statutory organisation that was established in 1964, to among other
things; develop, promote and control all forms of sports in the country.
(Technical) will provide support in carrying out technical/Sports activities of
the Council.
- Assist
in conducting Seminars and Courses for the general improvement of games
and sports - Annual
reports, programs, sports calendar drafted; - Supervising
sports, games and events; - Organizing
sports courses; - Mobilizing
and sensitizing the community on sports and games policies; - Liaise
with District sports councils; - Coordinate
various sports disciplines and projects. - Assist
in Preparing work plans and budgets. - Coordinating
various sports activities and programmes. - Identifying,
developing and promoting sports talents - Availing
sports and games facilities and equipment; - Determining
the status of sports facilities and equipment; - Sensitizing
and mobilizing sports and games stakeholders on development of sports and
games - Compile
and maintain National Associations data base
- The applicant must hold an Honors Degree in Sports Science, Physical
Education, from a recognized University. - Sports
management, Records and Information Management, report writing, public relations
and customer care; communication, Integrity and ethics and Concern for
quality and standards
