Job Summary: The Mechanical
Artisan will support the technicians to carry out mechanical maintenance
activities and routine works on the plant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Plant Repairs
- Repair
and cleaning of equipment in the mechanical section - Replace
seals and guides on gates - Dismantle
and repair control gates - Cure
oil leakages on pumps
Preventative Maintenance
- Inspecting
machines, pumps, bearing, motors, screens, bolts, cranes, (mainly assist
Technicians during preventive maintenance). - Cleaning
machine parts - Service
and grease machine parts as necessary - Transformer
pit cleaning
Dismantle and erect
scaffolding
scaffolding
Others:
- Handle
repairs of plant, modifications and troubleshooting for solutions while
ensuring safety of plant, equipment and people. - Participate
in project execution.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should hold an advanced Craft Certificate in Mechanical
Engineering - Two
years of related experience - Behavioural:
Integrity, honesty, trustworthy and professionalism. - Leadership
- Knowledge
of Turbine water ways, work at heights and confined place. - Analytical
Skill (Interpret engineering sketches and drawing, hydraulic circuits) - Customer
and Quality Focus - Communication
Skills - Team
