Responsibilities:
Offers technical support to Integrated Field
Support Team by coordinating and monitoring relevant business processes and
procedures and activities, paying attention to detail and adhering to
deadlines.
Effectively prepares periodic and adhoc reports
on programme and project activities.
Prepares and maintains records documents and
control plans for the monitoring of project/programme implementation
Keeps the Integrated Field Support focus area
informed by providing relevant information, reports or status updates
Organizes meetings; Initiates and coordinates
preparation of agenda and necessary documentation for meetings as well as
workshops and conferences.
Serves as the Secretary to internal meetings
including partners meeting e.g. with MGLSD and donor related meetings.
Maintains filing system for UNFPA supported
projects in accordance with established classification system
Drafts routine internal and external
correspondences
Support Annual Work Plan planning processes for
the team members
Support and participate in M&E visits
Provide inputs in proposal development process
Support the humanitarian team as per the team
tasks and when required
Performs other support duties as required
Experience:
The ideal candidate for the United Nations UNFPA
Programme Assistant job opportunity should have completed Secondary Education.
First level university degree or equivalent professional qualifications
desirable.
Five years of relevant experience in
administration, finance or office management.
Fluency in English.
