Job Summary: The Stores
Supervisor will be in charge of stores operations in assigned store.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure stock materials, special parts,
    consumables and plant are available on time to meet internal and external
    customer’s requirements.
  • Accomplishes warehouse human resource
    objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching,
    counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations;
    planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies
    and procedures.
  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor
    space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting monthly
    physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The applicant must hold a Diploma in
    Purchasing and Supplies Management.
  • Three years of experience in a store
    keeping position.
  • Effective written and verbal communication
    skills.
  • Good understanding of inventory management
    processes.
  • Good planning and organizations skills.
  • Proven warehouse supervisory experience.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and
    techniques.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages
    and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse
    data.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job
    done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate
    operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management
    skills.
  • Ability to work for long hours when need
    be.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
