Job Summary: The Software QA
Engineer will contribute to every step of the development cycle to make our
applications more flexible, reliable and easy to use. You have a strong
aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent presentation skills, OOP
architecture skills, and the ability to handle complex and significant
projects.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Establish, implement and evolve the formal
    QA processes to ensure that the group is using industry standard
    methodologies.
  • Build QA test plans and cases with the
    goal of 100% automation and reduction of regression test cycles.
  • Design and develop testing tools,
    frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to validate the quality of our
    software and REST services.
  • Integrate this infrastructure with Cl and
    CD systems to ensure our application suite is properly tested and meets
    Apple’s quality goals.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • Three or more years of recent professional
    work experience in software QA
  • Passion for quality and attention to
    detail
  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver
  • Highly organized
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or
    equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
    skills: able to bridge the gap between project management, end users, and
    engineering
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies that cover
    regression testing, ad hoc testing, functional testing, user interface
    testing, and integration testing
  • Experience in writing, executing and
    monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies such as
    Protractor, Selenium, or Cucumber
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, specifically
    experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, BuildBot,
    Travis Cl, or similar)
  • Proficiency in PHP, Javascript, Unix, SQL,
    CSS, HTML, JSON, JAVA
  • Working knowledge of Codeingniter
    Framework
