Job Summary: The Field
Sales Representative reports to the Operations Manager–Solutions & Projects
and they are responsible for:
  • Actively
    seeking out and engaging prospective clients.
  • Promoting,
    selling and securing orders from prospective clients to boost revenue
    growth, client acquisition levels and profitability.
  • Supporting
    the business development team with collection and consolidation of inputs
    for preparation of complete and appropriate solutions and proposals for
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Equip
    oneself with knowledge of the company product portfolio and service
    delivery culture.
  • Achieve
    agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Plan
    and organize personal sales strategies.
  • Create
    new sales leads, through “cold calling” and other appropriate
  • Coordinate
    with the business development team to assist in engaging prospective
  • Collaborate
    with other staff to develop effective solutions and proposals to
    prospective clients.
  • Establish,
    develop and maintain positive business and client relationships.
  • Submit
    oral and written activity and results reports e.g. daily call reports and
    weekly work plans with details on customer needs, problems, interests,
    competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Communicate
    to the business development team the required sales and marketing needs
    and improvements.
  • Perform
    any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant should at least hold an educational
    background a higher diploma in in ICT, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Two years of work experience as a sales
  • Ability to work with a computer especially for
    internet access, Microsoft office and G-Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good written and spoken English language
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Persistence.
  • Self-motivated
    and highly driven.
  • University degree preferably in ICT,
    Engineering or equivalent.
  • Relationship management skills.
