About US:
White Showmans Limited has been in existence for over 30 years and
their core business is trading with a chain of Shops in Uganda, Burundi, Congo
and Kenya mainly dealing in Batteries, Home Appliances, LED Lighting, Personal Care and White Goods products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall day-to-day
    operations of the business and all stores in all locations, including, but
    not limited to, identifying any and all issues related to human resources,
    accounting, inventory, purchasing, and general  operations.
  • Manages the stock control, and checks that
    inventory records are accurate.
  • The jobholder also prepares reports by
    collecting data and submitting reports in a timely fashion.
  • Reviews all work completed by Shop
    Managers and ensures completion on time.
  • Supports the Chief Operating Officer in
    identifying and implementing new market opportunities, including
    introducing new products.
  • Coordinates payroll distribution with
    Accounting and ensures confidentiality of all payroll-based transactions.
  • Coordinates receipt, management and
    processing of all shipping and customs documentation, including scanning
    of documents for controls purposes.
  • Accomplishes organizational goals by
    accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
    exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Coordinate with and direct staff to
    generate increased revenue across all shops, business lines, and
    geographical locations.
  • Perform any other activities as assigned.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate for the Operations
    Manager Position must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,
    Commerce, majoring in Marketing or its equivalent from a reputable
    organization.
  • At least five years’ experience in sales
    of consumer electronics: House
    hold Appliance, Personal care or White goods. 
  • Candidates without relevant experience in
    consumer electronics will not be considered.
NB: Attractive salary
package and remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications skills
and experience.
