Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is part of the Lutheran World
Federation Department for World Service (LWF-DWS), an international
humanitarian and development agency. LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s
vulnerability, supporting them to realize their potential, to build on their
assets, and to respond to their own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently
has five areas of operation in Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule,
Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.  LWF
World Service partners include Lutheran Churches and their related agencies,
the European Commission (ECHO), the US Government (BPRM) and UNHCR among
others, with whom LWF World Service is a key implementing partner.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
        
The ideal candidate for the LWF Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree preferably in
Social Sciences, International Relations and/or development or other relevant
discipline.
        
Degree or training in M&E, bio-statistical
analysis, data management, or relevant fields;
        
Post Graduate diploma in M&E is a must
        
Three years’ experience designing and
implementing participatory project M&E systems Excellent analytical, team
work and interpersonal skills, excellent documentation skills
        
At least five (3) years of prior experience with
performance monitoring and evaluations for international development or
humanitarian programs; drafting M&E systems; developing M&E tools and
procedures with proven improvement at the level of organization; as well as
data collection and analysis
        
Working knowledge of Word Processing
Spreadsheets, Data entry and analysis packages and databases (Microsoft
packages, SPSS etc.
