Job Summary: The MFS Data
Analyst will be tasked with planning, building, maintaining, commercializing
and implementing predictive and machine learning model pipelines

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Profiling data, identify potential data
issues, and work to remediate them - Create and maintain ETL pipelines
- Develop, maintenance and deploy machine
learning models - Business case development to determine the
commercial opportunity of implementing
models - Automation of reports and developed models
- Integration of models in campaign
management and customer interfacing
support systems - Managing machine learning predictive
models and their outcomes - Enhancing modeling capability by evaluating
technical modeling platforms - Create and maintain model development
roadmap
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the MTN Uganda MFS
Data Analyst job placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field - Possession of a postgraduate
qualification/ Certification in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine
Learning, Statistical Inference or Deep Learning will be an added
advantage - Five years’ experience in advance data
analytics or building large scale machine learning models in a highly data
driven environment - Previous experience with technical and
commercial implementation of predictive and machine learning models - Prior experience in the telecom industry
and Mobile Money will be an added advantage - Customer oriented
- Alert to environment changes and trends
- Good aptitude and adaptable
- Keen attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Decisive
- Independent but a Team Player
