Resource Officer will work collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager, by
serving as the human resources liaison to West Nile Emergency Response team in
providing HR practical solutions, overseeing the provision of Staff support
services such as Human Resource Administration, Resourcing, Training and
development, Recruitment and selection of employees.
- To support the HR function by maintaining
accurate and up to date records to enable effective reporting and decision
making - To support the timely and accurate
processing of payroll data to help the team provide a proactive and
efficient payroll service - Manage and coordinate welfare activities
in a way that supports Staff physical and emotional wellbeing - Provide support in the development and
implementation of CARE Uganda’s learning and Development strategy - Ensure that CARE Uganda is provided with
appropriate numbers of adequately qualified and competent Staff - Work with the Human Resources Manager to
ensure that CARE Uganda is implementing a performance management system
that enhances the performance and motivation of Care Uganda employees. - Oversee routine Human Resources
administration, including leave and benefits management among others.
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Admin, Social Science or
Development Studies or a related field - Additional qualification of a PGD in HR is
preferred - Administrative Law certificate is
desirable - At least three years’ experience in a
medium-sized organization preferably INGO in a similar role.
