Title: Procurement Officer

Officer will assist the Procurement Team in the daily operation of supply chain
management.
Responsibilities:
- The holder should be able to make purchasing
transactions for capital equipment, materials and services after analyzing
all the options. - The holder should prepare and maintain
purchasing records such as vendor quotes, purchasing. - Requisitions, purchase orders and reports.
- The holder should be able to work with
various stakeholders in initiating cost saving projects. - Work with users in developing
specifications for materials and equipment and should manage inventories
reorders based on lead times, par levels, shelf life and potential market
development. - The holder should make decisions which are
consistent with the company policy guidelines, the prevailing market
conditions and adhere to the code of business conduct and ethics. - The holder should be able to perform spend
analysis which is used to provide insights in making continuous
improvements.
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in
Purchasing and Supplies. - At least two years of work experience in
procurement preferably in the hospitality industry or FMCG. - The holder should have negotiation,
analytical, effective communication and coordination skill. - Experience in accounts desire.
- Has management and coordination skills and
experience. - Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Must be of high integrity.
