Job Summary: The Forensics
Analyst will primarily minimize risk through prevention, detection and
investigation of fraud and other non-ethical acts in line with MTN Uganda’s
“Zero Tolerance” policy on fraud.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Fraud risk assessments support
- Comprehensive, concise and well researched
investigative reports. - Completion of assignments in accordance
with department methodology and pre-set
deadlines. - Successful disciplinary and criminal
prosecution support. - Loss reporting and recoveries support.
- Successful implementation of
recommendations. - Increase awareness among staff and key
vendors of policies and procedures in respect of fraud, code of conduct,
ethics, gifts and conflict of interest. - Up to date fraud and unethical incidents
register.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the MTN
Uganda Forensics Analyst job opportunity placement should hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Law, Economics, Computer
Science, Information Technology or Business Computing. - Certified Fraud Examiner qualification.
- Two years of progressive hands on
experience/skills. - Prior experience in loss control
procedures and applications will be an added advantage - Exposure and good understanding of general
telecom operations. - Experience with the Uganda police and or
any other relevant organisations. - Previous investigative experience is
beneficial, as is an enquiring mind and the ability to remain calm under
pressure. - Extensive knowledge of criminal law, and
the criminal justice system would be ideal. - The maturity to cope with potentially
aggressive situations - Sound knowledge of commercial practices
and administrative policies will be desirable. - Mature person with the highest degree of
integrity and honesty - Good interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal & written communication
skills in English - Sound environmental awareness
- Quick problem solving and decision making
- Knowledge of MS Office packages
- Diplomatic
- Inquisitive
- Independence of mind
- Ability to handle diversity and embrace
change - Demonstrate innovation through
recommendations and questioning and
challenging existing procedures. - Show integrity by being honest and also be
at the forefront to enforce risk
