mainly manage web environment design, deployment, development and maintenance
activities. The incumbent will work
closely with the different departments and update website content (products,
services and promotions), build traffic and sales via website and social media
platforms, monitor and respond to inquiries and feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and update website content
(products, services, promotions) by creating banners, images, promotions
etc… for display and liaise with in-house teams to implement and support
campaigns. - Understand and develop sources of traffic
(& the factors that influence it): email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social
media, catalogues etc. - Plan, define and implement website changes
and functional improvements and maintain an update online marketing plan
for the website - Keenly monitor key performance indicators
on the website and develop plans to improve them - Investigate, evaluate and assess new ways
of generating additional traffic/orders and ensure attainment of set
targets. - Keenly analyse the performance of all
online marketing campaigns and promotions, prepare and submit
daily/weekly/monthly reports. - Manage website configuration &
parameters (e.g. payment options, parcel/consignment trucking etc…) - Scope and edit website content provided by
internal teams before publication or uploading. - Test and deploy functional improvements,
investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising.
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in IT or Computer Science with a bias in marketing. - No prior experience is required.
- Knowledge of web platform development
software, application server, development environment, operating system
and object oriented development. - Excellent communication skills, ability to
edit content for publication. - Attention to detail and excellent
analytical & problem solving skills. - Ability to work independently, under
pressure, deliver flawless work and collaborate in a fast paced
environment. - Excellent interpersonal relationships and
team work.
