Economic Development and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Uganda. They work to
reinvent how to improve the lives of the under-served. They think big, but
operate lean and nimble. They train community health workers to bring health
services and products life-saving to people’s doorsteps through modern
technology.
Job Summary: The Deputy Country
Director, Community Health Partnerships will create the Assisted Network
strategy defining the best ways the organization can partner with the Ugandan
Government and NGOs to improve community health. Your relationships will enable
you to build partnerships with leadership in the different sectors to make it
easy and compelling for them to contract with the organization. You will also
be expected to engage in advocacy initiatives to sell both the organization and
their approach – to donors, Ugandan Government leaders, private health
organizations, and NGOs. You will also spearhead the development of the
organization’s innovative financing approach that will make the organization a
pioneer in health financing and a best in class technical advisor for effective
community health systems.



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
        
The applicant must hold a MPH, MBA or other
relevant master’s degree.
        
At least eight (8) and above years of experience
in health organizations, particularly in Government relations, public
relations, sales and marketing, or program development.
        
International donor experience.
        
Management skills
        
Culturally adaptable.
