About US:
InterAid Uganda Limited (IAU)
is a non-governmental humanitarian national organization established in 1988,
and duly registered with the NGO Board and NGO Forum. IAU is actively involved
in programs geared towards the protection and improvement of lives of disadvantaged
people living in urban and rural areas in Uganda and in the Great Lakes Region.
InterAid Uganda is focused on its thematic areas of Rights Protection,
Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Health (HIV&AIDS; Malaria;
Maternal and Reproductive Health), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH),
Environment and Disaster Management and good Management and Governance systems.
Job Summary: The
Volunteers will provide support to the organization in implementation of various
activities including community based protection activities at community level,
finance related activities, records and archive management and maintenance of a
clean, healthy and attractive work environment at IAU



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
        
The
ideal candidate for the InterAid Uganda Limited (IAU) Volunteer job opportunity
should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s degree  in Records and Archive Management,
Librarianship and Information Science, Office and Information Management or the
equivalent.
        
Operations Management– Bachelors of Commerce,
Finance and Acco
unting, Human
Resource Management, Education or related courses    
        
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
        
Good team
player
        
Good analytical
skills
        
Excellent
planning and organizational skills
        
Good
working knowledge of MS Word and MS EXCEL
        
Ability
to work in a cross and multi-cultural communities, good report writing skills
        
Personal
Competencies: professional knowledge & skills, managing work (including
time), learning, innovation and continuous improvement
