Job Summary: The Relationship
Manager will be tasked with growing
contribution collections and membership in the jurisdictional zones of
operation.
The incumbent will be creating and
cementing relationships with employers in the operational zones in order to
achieve full and timely compliance. The jobholder will be tasked with
implementing customer-centric practices to the members and employers in the
operational zones in line with the NSSF A
ct geared at improving
compliance levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop
    the work plan for the designated Zones for approval by the Branch Manager
    and seeking approval from the Branch Manager in terms of resources
    required
  • Comb
    the area/z
    ones of jurisdiction and register all new employers and
    unregistered contributing employees
  • Cause
    the payment of contributions by all eligible employers in the area/zones
    of operation
  • Visit
    all employers and growing the collections base and membership
    while
    cementing relationships with employers.
  • Deploy
    the C-speed mobile tool to all employers in the area/zones of
    jurisdiction.
  • Inspect
    employers’ records and premises to ascertain compliance and take
    appropriate action.
  • Arrange
    and conduct sensitiz
    ation addresses to employees in the zones of
    operation
  • Identify
    defaulting employers; negotiate with them; gather evidence; recommend
    audit; Preparing reports for legal proceedings and recommending to the
    Branch manager cases for litigation action; provi
    de
  • Witness
    in courts of law.
  • Compile
    regular activity reports on contributions payment and suspense clearance
    status of all employers/members in the areas/zones of operation
  • Issue
    up to date and accurate member statements of accounts to all employees

    in the zone and responding to employer/member statement
  • Queries
    and following up to ensure that these are resolved in time
  • Perform
    any other related operational duties as may be required by the Branch
    manager or any other supervisor



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the NSSF Relationship
    Manager job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree  
  • Two years’ experience in performing operational work in the financial
    or social services sector.
