Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is established under the PPDA Act
No.1 of 2003 to develop standards and regulate procurement and disposal
practices in respect of all Procuring and Disposing Entities which include
Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments, State
Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and post primary training
institutions.
Human Resources Officer will facilitate and provide support in the HR function
at PPDA by implementing and monitoring HR policies and practices that support
the delivery of effective HR services to staff, management and stakeholders of
PPDA.
- Recruitment
and Selection: Ensuring
that the recruitment and selection process is handled in an efficient
manner contributing to the effective entry management of staff at PPDA - HR
Administration: Ensure an
efficient HR administrative function that supports effective organisation
communication and HR records management - Employee
Payroll Coordination: Coordinate
and manage PPDA payroll in line with staff contractual obligations and
budgetary requirements to ensure prompt, accurate and consistent salary
payments so as to maintain a motivated and engaged work force. - Performance
Management: Ensuring that
all staff are provided with the HR guidance and support that will result
in continued and consistent performance: - Employee
Welfare and Benefits:
Facilitate implementation of PPDA staff welfare and benefits schemes that
promotes motivation and retention of staff and are in line with legal and
contractual requirements - Attendance
and Leave: Facilitate and
manage staff attendance to duty and leave in line with the legal and staff
contractual obligations to ensure compliance.
- The
ideal candidate for the PPDA Senior Human Resources Officer job
opportunity should hold an Honours Degree in Human Resource Management or
Industrial and Organisational Psychology or a Honours Degree in Social Sciences or Business
Administration (Human Resource Management option). - Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Human
Resource Management. - Credits in both mathematics and english at O’
Level. - Three
years’ experience in Human Resource practice - Proven experience in Human Resource Office
management and Administration. - Communication skills
