Job Summary: The
Psychosocial Counselor will be responsible for ensuring overall quality of case
management and psychosocial support including referrals for GBV survivors in
the Refugee Settlement. S/he will ensure effective provision of counseling for
refugees with protection issues; ensure that follow up and feedback related to
supporting GBV survivors and protection issues of persons of concern in the
refugee communities is obtained.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC) International Psychosocial
    / SGBV Counselor job placement should preferably hold a University degree
    in Social Sciences, Community Psychology, and/or Social Work,
  • Certification
    in Counseling.
  • Three
    years of working experience in GBV issues in humanitarian setting.
  • Knowledge
    of the local language and the population is added advantage (BidiBidi)
