General (OAG) is an institution established under the provisions of Article 163
of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda. Its mandate, functions and
powers are enshrined in the National Audit Act, 2008. The main function of the
OAG is to audit and report on the Public Accounts of Uganda and all Public
offices or bodies and/or organization established by an Act of Parliament.
- Supporting
the OAG to deliver monthly, quarterly, annual M&E and any other
reports on overall performance to enable monitoring of the OAG Corporate
Strategy - Liaising
, coordinating and working closely with OAG structures to ensure delivery
of the expected M&E reporting requirements. - Developing
monitoring and evaluation indicators for monitoring compliance. - Tasked
with monitoring and evaluation of plans, programmes and projects to ensure
that the mandate of the Auditor General is executed in accordance with the
National Development Plan, National Priorities and the OAG Corporate
Strategy. - Preparing
and maintaining Monitoring and Evaluation records on audit and corporate
activities to aid preparation of Monitoring and evaluation reports.. - Ensuring
compliance with the OAG Monitoring and Evaluation policy. - Providing
guidance on maintaining a robust functioning Monitoring and Evaluation
management Information system. - Actively
contributing to development of M&E work within the OAG to ensure that
information is of high quality and leads to innovative reporting. - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- The
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer should be a Ugandan who holds an Honors
Bachelor’s degree in either Quantitative Economics or Economics or
Statistics or Developmental Economics from a recognized university. - Age: Below 30 years
encouraged to send their applications including;
