competencies include designing and conducting rigorous impact evaluations of
development projects; developing survey instruments; conducting analytic
research; statistical sampling; data preparation, collection, cleaning and
management; and developing survey-associated information technology.
Job Summary: The IT
Specialist will provide technical support for USAID/Uganda in improving its
communication tools and processes; support USAID/ Uganda efforts to promote
innovative practice

Qualifications, Skills and
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Computer Science;
  • Four years’ experience in computer support
    and security administration;
  • Previous experience with user experience
    design, network administration, and systems development methods.
  • Excellent written and oral English.
