Job Summary: The Internal
Auditor Trainee will work closely with the Finance department to analyze and
ensure effective implementation of company procedures and fulfillment of
statutory obligations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Tasked with reviewing operations to
    ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives and
    goals and weather operations or programmes are being carried out as
  • Developing audit programmes, assessing
    effectiveness of operations, analyzing and evaluating systems, devising
    positive recommendations and communicating them effectively
  • Overseeing internal controls to ascertain
    structural weaknesses and compliance failures
  • Highlight to senior management major
    control deficiencies or areas for which promote corrective action is
  • Analyzing raw materials procurement with
    particular reference to competitive rates, sourcing, reorder levels,
    vendor rating and standard stock levels
  • Conduct internal audits at all reasonable
    times to the branches, depots, shops and departments
  • Ensure that Chart of Authorities and
    Company’s policies, Procedures and Manuals are strictly adhered to by all
    Units/ Divisions
  • Ensuring effective implementation of
    internal audit recommendations by appraising adequate of action taken by
    Unit Management to correct compliance

Qualifications, Skills and
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in a relevant course
  • Five years’ experience in Quality
    Assurance Management preferably in manufacturing/retailing industry
