Job Summary: The
Protection Officer will be responsible for implementing strategies for
providing Sexual and Gender Based Violence prevention and awareness services,
working with community structures, partners, persons of concern and other key
stakeholders in line with set Protection guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC) International Protection
Officer job placement should preferably hold a University degree in Social
sciences, Public health or other relevant field - Four
years’ experience in GBV, SASA methodology and protection issues - Knowledge
of GBV prevention and response programming in humanitarian settings - Knowledge
of the local language and the population is an added advantage (BidiBidi)
