District Program Area Supervisor M&E
is a collaborative Bio-medical research and service delivery organization. It
strives to improve the quality of life of the local population through a
combination of community based research, curative services and prevention
strategies in the District of Rakai, South Western Uganda. It is based at the
Uganda Virus Research Institute Entebbe and Kalisizo in Rakai District.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), RHSP is implementing a 5 year
comprehensive HIV/ AIDS program in the 12 districts of Masaka region namely;
Rakai, Kyotera, Masaka, Kalungu, Bukomansimbi, Lyantonde, Lwengo, Sembabule,
Butambala, Gomba, Mpigi, and Kalangala with an aim of achieving rapid HIV
epidemic control.
Program Area Officer M&E will assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Function
of the DREAMS program in the respective districts by overseeing data collection
and reporting for the program as guided by PEPFAR. The Program Area Officer
will work with the Program Area Supervisor to ensure that clean and complete
DREAMS data is collected, properly captured and reported in a timely manner.
- Oversee DREAMS reporting in DHIS2, HIBRID and
UDTS for the DREAMS districts - Monitor DREAMS progress to target by program
area and segment for the district. - Provide technical guidance to AGYW data entrants
- Mentor and train AGYW data entrants in entering
data in the UDTS - Oversee case file management in the whole
district - Oversee data entry into the UDTS in the
district - Perform any other duty as assigned by the
supervisor
- The
ideal candidate for the DREAMS Program Area Officer M&E job
opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative
Economics or related field - Experience working with the DREAMS Program is
an added advantage - Experience working with PEPFAR and district
reporting systems like DHIS2, OVCMIS, and HIBRID is an advantage - Experience working with the Uganda DREAMS
Tracking System (UDTS) is an added advantage - Good communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a rural and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Ability to ride a motorcycle is an added
advantage
