making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking durable
solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the UN
refugee agency.
Job Summary: The Surveyor
will be tasked with planning, coordinating and supervising comprehensive
construction surveys to establish lines and grades within the construction
sites
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinating
    comprehensive Roads and other civil constructions surveys to establish
    lines and grades within the construction sites.
  • Making
    exact measurements and determine property boundaries.
  • Prepare
    or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and
    documents related to surveys.
  • Inspects
    to ensure that proper compliance with construction specifications is
    adhered to.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the AIRD Surveyor job placement must hold a Civil
    Engineering Degree with/or Diploma in Road/ Infrastructure Surveying or
    Bachelors’ degree in Land Surveying and Geometries or any other related
    qualification with emphasis in surveying.
  • At
    least three years of experience in the Roads & Infrastructure field
  • Works
    well under pressure and able to be up to the deadlines
  • Experience
    in the use of computers and specialized software packages (MS Word, Excel,
    etc.) and other database packages related to construction
