African Initiatives for Relief
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Job Summary: The Fleet
Officer will be managing all fleet-related issues. The Fleet Officer  will pro-actively lead and motivate a team of
drivers and driver assistants to ensure excellent standards of maintenance to
our fleet under the supervision of the operations manager.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    applicant for the AIRD Fleet Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
    Transport or Fleet Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
  • A
    minimum of four years’ working experience in similar position.
  • Strong
    interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High
    level of honesty and Integrity
  • Attention
    to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced
    computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, Creating
    forms, org charts, mail merges, labels, name tags, charts and graphs,
    pivot tables, presentations with
  • Ability
    to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Willingness
    to work in any part of the country
