Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB)
which is an equal opportunities employer is a semiautonomous public agency set
up by the Uganda Export Promotion Board Act 1996 under the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Cooperatives with the main objective of facilitating the development,
promotion and coordination of all export- related activities that lead to export
growth on a sustainable basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The
    Senior Partnership & Liaison Executive will lead the
    team in the section
  • Tasked with building effective relationships to
    ensure effective partnership working
  • Providing support in the implementation and
    promotion of the Strategic Plan
  • Representing the UEPB at partnership meetings
  • Working with entire UEPB team to devise
    suitable targets, outcomes and evaluation criteria for each defined area of work
  • In charge of monitoring the achievement of
    evaluation criteria and providing progress reports
  • Liaising with external bodies and stakeholders as required



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Uganda Export Promotions Board (UEPB) Senior
    Partnership & Liaison Executive job placement must be a Ugandan who
    holds an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Economics,
    Statistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, Commerce or
    IT from a recognized awarding University or Institution, and Masters’
    Degree in Economics, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, Project Planning,
    International Business, or International Trade or Finance is an added
    advantage.
  • A
    minimum of five years at senior or managerial level gained from a
    reputable organization, (3) three of which must have been attained from
    either the private or public sector.
  • Policy and strategy development
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Effective project management including devising
    performance measures, monitor performance against set targets and evaluate projects
  • Experience in forging partnerships at both a
    strategic and operational level, with a range of stakeholders across a range of sectors, including
    development partners
