Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD)
Uganda
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
M&E Officer will coordinate monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects
in the country as well as responsible for overall M&E and learning needs of
the project and will come up with findings based on real data to show
performance of the projects. The incumbent will play role in promoting of key
learning’s for the improvement of the project and for wider learning of the
organisation.
- The
applicant for the AIRD Senior M&E Officer job must hold a Masters/
Bachelors degree in Management, Engineering, Social Science or other
discipline - At
least three years for master’s degree and seven years’ experience in
monitoring and evaluation - Extensive
knowledge and understanding of project monitoring and evaluation - Understanding
of the current M&E trends and especially M&E systems in NGO’s - Excellent
interpersonal skills - Good
presentation and communication skills - Ability
to work under pressure with minimum supervision. - Willingness
to work in any part of the country
