Uganda
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit international organization whose objective is to provide operational
support but not limited to: supply chain, logistics, construction,
infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief
and development organizations which primarily focus on disaster-affected and
development-orientation areas.
Human Resource Officer will manage the human resource team to deliver
effective, efficient and legally compliant services to meet organisation needs
and achieve value for money.
- The
applicant for the AIRD Senior Human Resource Officer job should hold a Master’s
degree in human resource management, management or Post graduate
qualification - A
minimum of five years of working experience in human resource position
preferably in an NGO setting - Experience
in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel,
etc.) and database packages (HRMS) - Good
understanding of Uganda’s labor laws is a MUST - Outstanding
organizational and time management abilities - Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. - High
level of honesty and Integrity - Ability
to work under pressure. - Willingness
to work in any part of the country
