Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
Senior Bursar role will be tasked with the day to-day supervision and
management of the Bursars’ of both Schools to ensure effective collection
and recovery of all School dues, fees and other costs from students and
third parties, including payroll preparatibn, payments for utilities, PAYE
and URA - Prepare
financial briefings for the Directors as and when required, including
termly financial reports – School operation accounts; expense accounts and
balance sheets - Prepare
final accounts for internal and external audit, including attending audit
meetings - Promote
ways of improving financial efficiency, including the introduction, where
appropriate, of improvements to the collection of School dues, fees and
related charges.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should preferably hold a good Degree in Accounting and or
Advanced Diploma in Accounting with ACA/FCA - At
least five years of relate work experience. - Previous
experience in a similar position within an educational environment will be
an added advantage.
