Uganda
and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and
non-profit making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking
durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the
UN refugee agency.
Officer will primarily arrange and coordinate the transportation of refugees
and asylum seekers, accommodation and meals for all referrals.
- The
ideal candidate for the AIRD Resettlement Officer job opportunity must
hold a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or any other related Studies. - Four
years of related working experience in related operations - Experience
in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel,
etc.) and database packages - Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. - High
level of honesty and Integrity - Attention
to detail and accuracy - Ability
to work under pressure with minimum supervision. - Willingness
to work in any part of the country - Multi-linguistic
ability is an added advantage.
