- Ensure proper case management and
documentation - Tasked with the coordination of protection
activities with partner focal points and through proper referrals - Conduct regular case follow up in the
community and with partners - Prepare timely weekly, monthly, quarterly
other reports as required - Capacity building of community to
participate in their own protection - Prepare and submit timely requisition to
enable implementation - From time to time undertake any other duty
as may be assigned by the supervisor - Contribute to proposal development for the
organization - Undertake other duties as assigned by the
supervisor
- The ideal candidate for the HIJRA Protection
Officer job placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and
Social Administration, Social Sciences, development studies, Law, Human
rights or a comparable discipline - Three years of work experience in the same
field of development and humanitarian work and NGOs’ - Ability to produce high-quality
documentation - Excellent presentation and interpersonal
skills and the ability to interact with a number of different partners and
contacts, including governmental authorities, UNHCR, victims and their
families etc. - Strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft
office, PowerPoint and E-mail. - Strong leadership skills.
