About UNHCR Project:
ADRA Uganda in partnership with
UNHCR is implementing a one-year Environment Protection and Renewable Energy
Project to be implemented in the 5 Zones of Bidibidi Refugee settlement in
Yumbe district, West Nile Region, starting January 2018.

Job Summary: The Project Manager will be in charge of
planning and implementing the project taking care of the technical and
leadership roles as well as reporting to ADRA Uganda and / or UNHCR. S/he will
lead a team of more than 5 staff and 50 volunteers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant for the ADRA Uganda Project Manager job placement must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Environment Management,
Renewable Energy or any related field. - Three
years of hands-on field experience in managing Natural Resources or
Environment Protection or Renewable Energy Projects especially in refugee
settings. - Sound
analytical skills, M&E and good report writing skills; - Substantial
experience in working with or in collaboration with UN Agencies –
particularly UNHCR. - The
applicant should be ready to start work immediately and should be willing
to reside in Yumbe district (Bidibidi Refugee Settlement) where the
project office will be located.
